Capital Planning
CCSP manages the capital plan and capital outlay process in close coordination with University leadership. This is a continuous annual process that prioritizes and manages capital outlay requests, appropriations, and approvals for University projects including new construction, renovation, acquisition, demolition, repairs, and campus improvements.
The Capital Planning team works with the Capital Investment Planning Committee (CIPC) to create and maintain the 5-Year Capital Plan for Albuquerque campuses. The Committee is co-chaired by the Director of Campus Capital & Space Planning and Assistant Vice President of Academic Resource Management.
